Roohi Bano passed away on Friday (today) as confirmed by her sister Rubina Yasmeen. According to Rubina, the 67 year old actress was on ventilator for the last 10 days and was suffering from the kidney failure.
She won two PTV awards and President’s Pride of Performance Award.

Robina Yasmin, sister of Roohi Bano says that Roohi Bano was hospitalized in a Istanbul hospital in Turkey and was on ventilator for last 10 days.
She was suffering from kidneys and had suffered from psychological problems for the last few years.
The only son of Roohi Bano was killed near his residence in Lahore. Despite passing this year, he could not forget the pain of this accident, and due to this sadness she continued to become ill and her mental condition was also worse.
She was suffering from schizophrenia as she spiraled into depression after her son Ali was brutally murdered in 2005.
Her sister took her to Fountain House in her home where she was treated. Last days, news about her lost disappearance was also reported.

Roohi Bano also won two PTV awards and President’s Pride of Performance Award.
She is widely acknowledged for her roles during 1970s and 80s. However, she did roles in Zard Gulab, Darwaza, Qila Kahani, Kiran Kahani, and Hairat Qadah.
